How to Wash an Electric Bike Safely (Cleaning Dos and Don'ts)

Clean an electric bike using a low-pressure garden hose, bicycle-specific cleaning wash, soft brushes, and clean microfiber cloths. Never use high-pressure washers, which blast water past rubber O-ring seals into motor bearings, display screens, and internal wiring docks. Keep the battery seated and locked in the frame during washing to seal the terminal dock, and wipe down all electrical contact points before storage.
